Ho Chi Minh City ,Vietnam - Day 23 - 25/03/2010

We had presentation in the morning about our understanding of certain topic about Vietnam(i.e. Cultural). Nothing much interesting to write about.

After lunch, most of us packed our bags for our 5D4N Dalat-Nha Trang tour which we'll be embarking the next day. Again, an uneventful afternoon. Evening we went down to the VNU student's dormitory after our friends,Page White, invited us down. The dormitory is quite densely populated with students around Vietnam.Not to forget that the dormitory is heavily guarded and we were halted by security. It didn't took long for Page White to arrive and convince the guard on duty to let us in and proceed further.

The student life is very vibrant there. They have a KTV, night club and few restaurants there that catered to their daily needs. They even have activities like martial arts class there(it was a Taekwando class during my visit). We spent the entire night before our trip in the KTV, singing to Vietnamese pop music and some hits from 60s/70s.No alcohol this time round. The dormitory rooms is a bit cramped,one room holds about 8 people(no photos).


We went back to the Guesthouse soon after. I went to bed early to rest up for the 5D4N trip wondering what's in store for me during the trip.

Our Vietnamese counterpart are the most hyperactive bunch.
