The Guesthouse electricity supply was cut off. It was announced the day before thus some of us decide to head out to HCMC as staying in the Guesthouse on a hot day wasn't ideal.
We took a local bus service( first time for since I set foot in VN). Bus fare is relatively cheap ( about 3,000 to 5,000 VND). Fixed cost no matter the distance of travel but buses can be overcrowded too. It's safer to travel in bus than to take other alternatives.
We had lunch at a restaurant called 'Quan An Ngon'. A large and busy chain restaurant that serves mainly Vietnamese cuisines which includes regional specialties from around Vietnam. It has the interior of an atmosphric old French villa. Prices of food is reasonable and the dishes are amazing.
Here's the address: 160 Pastuer Street
